Mia Rugari
PBS Practitioner
Mia is a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner with a background in psychology, community services, and healthcare. She holds a double degree in Psychology and Human Sciences from Macquarie University and has experience supporting children and adults with Autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delays, and psychosocial disabilities.

Specialising in functional behaviour assessments and person-centred Behaviour Support Plans, Mia focuses on reducing restrictive practices, promoting independence, and embedding accessible communication strategies such as AAC. Her practice is guided by empathy, collaboration, and a passion for neurodiversity.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys Formula 1, going to the gym, exploring new foods, and relaxing with reality TV or true crime podcasts.
